Meet Chief!
Chief (also known as Mr. Big Paws) is a five-year-old liver nosed Rhodesian Ridgeback. He spent his first few years growing up in New York City and loved to go to all the dog parks in the financial district and meet new pup friends every day. He became a very social boy and wants to get to know every four, or two, legged friend he meets, except if you’re delivering packages!
Although Chief loves meeting new friends, his favorite thing to do in the world is tap into his Rhodesian instincts and run. Chief was excited when his parents decided to move out of the big city to Cortlandt Manor because he knew he would have endless running space in the Hudson Valley. His mom and dad can’t keep up so they ride the scooter next to him while he runs up and down the street every day.
Chief loves finishing his day with a yummy pig ear and always reminds mom and dad just in case they forget. He doesn’t seem to know his own size and tries to sit on their laps for a pet. His favorite holiday is Halloween, and he is excited for trick or (mostly) treating this year!
