Meet Buffy and Joyce!
We adopted Buffy and Joyce from the SPCA in Briarcliff Manor on January 2, 2023. Joyce is Buffy’s mom. Buffy was the only survivor of the litter, and the shelter wanted to keep them together. Our hearts melted at the story and we had to adopt both. Buffy is the gray tiger one on the left, and Joyce is the solid gray and white one with the mustache. We named them after the title character in the movie and TV show “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and her mom, Joyce.
These divas rule the house and their humans! Their royal titles are Queen Joyce of the Mustache (also known as Mustachio), and Buffy the Cuteness Slayer (also known as Buffy the Toy Slayer).
Buffy and Joyce nap together, play and wrestle together, and get the Zoomies at 2 am. They are each less than 10 pounds, but sound like a herd of elephants when they run around the house! Their favorites toys are a stuffed crescent yellow moon and a red rope. They love perching on their cat tree by the floor to ceiling window and watching the birds and other critters go by.
Buffy and Joyce bring much joy to their humans.
