Meet Franchi (pronounced Frankie)!
She is a 55 lb. female German Shorthaired Pointer and is 19 months old. Franchi was born in Syracuse and Michelle, my fiancé and I picked her up on Superbowl Sunday of last year. Tragically in August of last year, Michelle passed away. It has been Franchi and I, 24-7 ever since.
She is my partner in everything! She rides in to work with me every day where she is spoiled by an additional 7 members of her family in the studio. As a puppy, she was a true criminal. Stealing everything she could get her mouth on. Destruction of countless rolls of masking tape, fabric remnants, and prescription eyeglasses were only a few of her crimes! She has trained nicely now but still has the energy of a Velociraptor!
Her favorite parks are the Crotonville Parker-Bale American legion, the waterfront at the Montrose VA, and Croton Point Park. Franchi wears a Fi dog collar which is basically a Fit-Bit/GPS and it is not uncommon for her to log over 28,000 steps per day. She is a blessing, and I truly don’t know what I would do without her. Or each other for that matter.
