Meet Edna!
Edna is a four year old, 55-pound female basset hound. She was born in Arizona and raised in Denver and Sleepy Hollow, where she lives with her family: Jesse, Melanie, Inez, Jolene (another basset hound), Francesca (a cat), and Claudia (a cat). It’s a full household!
Edna fully understands that she is the baby of the family and loves being the center of attention. If someone else is getting pet, Edna needs to be part of the action. Her favorite activities include taking long walks along the Hudson, sniffing everything she can find, informing her family that she is absolutely starving and needs breakfast the moment they wake up, going on car rides, and spending time hanging out with Jolene—her best friend in life. The two are inseparable and don’t like being apart.
Edna spends her days loafing around with Jolene, following her people from room to room, and gazing at everyone with her deep, droopy eyes to let them know she loves them (though she also wouldn’t mind a treat). She has also become a fan favorite of our two-year-old daughter, Inez, who lovingly refers to both Edna and Jolene as “Moomoo.”
Edna brings joy to everyone she meets and is honored to be Pet of the Month.
