Irvington is enjoying its recent top rating among the towns of Westchester, with its own special charm, lack of parking meters, excellent restaurants, and diverse businesses. But generally unknown in Irvington are many excellent and very experienced clinicians in the mental health and counseling fields. Because of the entirely confidential nature of our work, we are accustomed to keeping a very low profile. However this may put rivertown residents at a disadvantage in not being aware of the broad range of services offered by Irvington psychotherapists generally, and by our private group practice in particular.
In addition to offering consultation and treatment for a wide range of emotional and interpersonal concerns, our specialties include impasses in love relationships or in employment/career plans; clinical symptoms of depression and anxiety; concerns of high school and college students; parenting concerns; alcoholism and substance abuse; high-conflict marriage and divorce, including custody disputes; various forms of trauma, crisis, and abuse, including sexual and child abuse.
We provide individual and couples treatment and can also arrange family treatment and management of psychiatric medications. Treatment is available for Westchester residents of all ages and cultures, and we are in-network with a number of health plans. Evening and weekend appointments are available as well as weekdays.
For concerns, services, and health plans that are outside our purview, we have access to a network of therapists throughout Westchester whom we know firsthand and can recommend.
Our Irvington office is very accessible by public transportation and drivers can find easy parking. To inquire further, call Doris Bertocci, LCSW or Mary T. Harrington, LCSW at (914)-231-7812.
