On Thursday, November 16, Phelps Hospital celebrated honored role models and its own achievements at the 31st Annual Champagne Ball. The event was held at Sleepy Hollow Country Club with more than 350 people in attendance. Over $350,000 was raised including $188,000 through the Fund-A-Cause auction, which will support the launch of patient fall prevention technology newly available at Phelps. Honorees were the Phelps Hospice department and Dr. Michael McCormick, Syliva and Aubrey Hawes, Maggie and Fred Mascia and Jeff Meade. Ball co-chairs were Ingrid and Dr. Jack Hershman and Pamela and Dr. Paul Terracciano.
