Dr. Fazaana Ali has joined the staff of doctors at Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital.
Dr. Ali grew up on the Caribbean island of Trinidad. As a child, she was always drawn to animals and realized her strong connection with them. She moved to the United States as a teenager and she has been a proud New Yorker since then. She attended the City College of New York and graduated with honors, earning a BS in biology. It was during her early college days that she started volunteering at an animal clinic and discovered her passion for veterinary medicine.
Dr. Ali graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and has been working as a small animal veterinarian in the NY Metro area since then. When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Ali enjoys snuggling with her two cats, Linus and Freckles, going to the movies, attending concerts, reading, hiking and spending time with her family.
