Earth Day season is upon us ith many exciting and meaningful events happening (or already happened!) in the River Towns. With a variety of events aimed at celebrating nature, promoting sustainability, and fostering environmental awareness, there are countless ways for residents to get involved. Whether you’re passionate about conservation, love outdoor activities or simply want to spend a day learning more about the planet, these events offer something for everyone. 

Saturday, April 26 – Green Ossining’s 15th Annual Earth Day Festival 

As Westchester County’s largest Earth Day event, the Green Ossining Earth Day Festival is a gathering for environmental advocates and curious attendees alike. With over 100 vendors, this festival will showcase sustainable products, green technology, and local organizations working to protect our planet. Enjoy live music from local artists, indulge in farm-to-table food, and explore educational exhibits focused on everything from climate change to zero-waste living. Families can also take part in eco-friendly crafts, interactive games, and hands-on sustainability projects.

Sunday, April 27 – Earth Day Celebration at Hilltop Hanover Farm 

For those looking to dig a little deeper, Hilltop Hanover Farm’s Earth Day Celebration offers an hands-on experience. Designed especially for teens and young environmentalists, this workshop will explore the wonders of native plants, medicinal herbs, and sustainable farming practices.
