A Welcoming Dinner at the Castle on the Hudson

Executive Chef Chiharu Takei putting final touches to the Lobster and Seasonal Vegetables  Terrine.On Thursday and Friday, March 15 and 16, Tarrytown’s Castle on the Hudson hosted two very special evenings for invited business leaders and community members. Guests were introduced to the Castle’s new owner, Mr. Haruki Hirakawa and Mr. Jiro Sato, President of Sankara Hospitality Group.

He has introduced to the Equus Restaurant a menu of French influences with the finest ingredients that the Hudson Valley offers.
The two evenings were emceed by Historic Hudson Valley President Waddell Stillman who articulated the rich history of the Castle and its dedication to preservation and tourism within the Hudson Valley.

 

The Great Hall.Dinner was served in the Great Hall with its 40-foot vaulted ceiling and Tiffany-style stained glass windows. A professional and attentive staff served the delighted guests against a backdrop of piano and guitar music that melded into a more than memorable evening.
