The Happiness Show is a family-friendly puppet and improv performance starring YAI’s own Derrick Singlar, a talented artist with Down syndrome who attends YAI’s Tarrytown Day Habilitation program. Derrick, a passionate puppetry enthusiast, will share the stage with professional puppeteer Jill Liflander in a performance that celebrates equality, creativity, and inclusion. Together, they demonstrate the beauty of neurodiverse collaboration, performing as equals in a heartwarming and joyful show.
Following the performance, families can participate in a puppet-making workshop, making this a truly interactive and unforgettable experience for all ages.
