The RiverArts Studio Tour offers a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts to connect with local artists in a casual and intimate setting. Each year, participating artists open their studios to the public, showcasing a variety of artworks. Visitors can explore the creative process, purchase original pieces, and enjoy studios offering interactive, family-friendly activities. Studio Tour Producer, Kit Demirdelen shares, “This year, the Studio Tour has over 80 studios registered from Hastings up to Sleepy Hollow, which is one of our largest tours yet! The Rivertowns are rightfully known as the artistic heart of Westchester County.”
This year, the promotional image for the 2024 RiverArts Studio Tour features a work by long-time participating artist, Edward Bear Miller. “Every year’s studio tour helps me assess my new work as I make my studio presentable and welcoming for all the old friends and new folks who will visit,” Miller continues, “more and more people from the city are coming up thanks to the extraordinary outreach of RiverArts. My practice and my community have benefited enormously from these connections.”
An interactive google map and a downloadable map (for digital viewing or to print at home), will be provided by RiverArts so that attendees can plan their artist studio visits. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP to the Tour and to receive Early Access to the digital Studio Tour map. More information about each studio can be found at www.RiverArtsStudioTour.com.
