Hen Hud Student to Sing at Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House

Alexandra Numeroff

Hendrick Hudson High School musician Alexandra Numeroff has been awarded two major honors.

The high school junior auditioned and was accepted into the Worldstrides Honors Performance Program as a member of the Honor Choir. Numeroff will now have an opportunity to perform at two world-renowned concert venues: in November 2024 at Carnegie Hall in Manhattan and in July 2025 at the Sydney Opera House.

“I have always wanted to work alongside musicians as passionate as I am,” said Numeroff,” and being able to perform with them on top of exploring the wonders of New York City and Sydney with them will be life-changing for me.”

The Honors Performance Series accepts students based on their talent, dedication and achievements as demonstrated in their application and audition recording, according to Erica Denler, the Director of Choral Music at Hendrick Hudson High School.

“Alexandra is such a talented, dedicated student,” Denler said. “Watching their talent grow these past few years and now seeing them take the stage in both Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House feels me with such immense pride. It’s a testament to their hard work, passion and dedication. I know Alexandra will make Hen Hud proud!”
