Horizons showcases the continual evolution of a band with infinite musical possibilities. All of the new material was performed live numerous times before entering the studio, which allowed the band to gain a greater vision of what each song could be when recording, and even more importantly, while performing in front of their passionate fans. Vance Powell (White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, Chris Stapleton, Trey Anastasio) returned to co-produce the album following his production work on Reflector.
