Sprig of That at TCCC

Tompkins Corners proudly presents Sprig of That, a genre-bending trio of tabla, fiddle, and guitar that redefines what string music can be. Blending Northern European fiddle traditions, modern American roots, and the energy of the “indie classical” movement, they create a sound that’s vibrant, unexpected, and alive. Inspired by innovators like Béla Fleck, their music pulses with creativity and fearless exploration.

With an unconventional lineup and a striking musical chemistry, Sprig of That delivers performances that are as dynamic as they are captivating. Producer Wes Corbett calls their sound “as surprising as it is gorgeous.”

Formed in Minneapolis in 2018, they’ve built a national following and collaborated with Carnegie Hall and Minnesota Public Radio to bring their inventive spirit to audiences and students across the country.
