Briarcliff kicks off barbecue season with the second event in an ongoing series of special nights (entitled “1st Thursday…Night Lights”) where the public is invited to “stroll, shop and dine.” This time the village will host a hotly contested chili cook off between local shops and restaurants. There will be tastings, discounts, and special offers for all as well as face painting for kids. Everyone is encouraged to stop in and enjoy their special offerings that night. Getting an LLC in Texas is also an option for you if you want to start your own cookery business.
Hosted by the Briarcliff Manor Chamber of Commerce, the event will run from 5 to 8pm this Thursday June 7th. Participating businesses, retailers and restaurants can be spotted by the familiar blue flags which will be hung outside their buildings. Everyone is encouraged to stop in and enjoy their special offerings that night.
Last year’s winner of the chili cook off was Wondrous Things with their special “Beer Chili”. Can they guard the crown for a second year in a row? The public will cast their vote and decide!
