Pictured to the right is Cromwell Smith with his wife, Joan. Cromwell recently celebrated his 80th birthday and has a long history of living in Tarrytown’s south end on Embree Street.

In the photo below he is seen in front of a group of friends at age 18 on a rustic-looking street in 1944.
