DESCRIPTION:Join The Hudson Valley Writers Center (HVWC) and Hudson Valley Books for Humanity (HVBH) for Draft n’ Drink! Meet us for an evening of writing prompts and exercises\, a beverage\, and a fun and casual environment where we can write creatively in community. Participation in the guided writing exercises is voluntary\, and participants can share their work in small and large groups towards the end of the session.  \nDetails and Dates:\nDoors open at 6:30 pm for event starting at 7:00 pm. DESCRIPTION:As America marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence\, what are the stories that we have told over generations? What stories do we still have left to tell–in large and small communities across this country? Who gets to tell and write those stories\, and ensure they do not disappear? On June 18\, join the Hudson Valley Writers Center\, in-person or via livestream\, for an epic celebration of language\, community\, and the power of narrative. Whether you come for five minutes\, or for 250\, we will be reading poetry and prose\, playing music\, excavating old stories and championing new voices.
