The Westchester School Of Guitar

The Westchester School Of Guitar, founded in 1987 by Director Jeffrey. J. Brown, offers unique and creative instruction on contemporary music’s favorite instrument.

Located at 1133 Pleasantville Road, in "Downtown" Briarcliff Manor, the school is dedicated to enhancing the musical enjoyment and abilities of children, teens and adults.

Brown, a graduate of Boston’s Berklee College of Music, is also a music faculty member at the Hackley School. His jazz quartet recording, "In From the Edge" on Blue Sound Records, received national radio airplay.

The no-cost initial mini-lesson/interview can be scheduled by calling (914) 762-6560. Hours of instruction are Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm to about 8:30 pm. Saturday lessons are also offered. All popular styles of guitar are taught.
