Freda has practically been a lifelong resident of Sleepy Hollow. Having arrived here from Greece at the age of ten, she has lived here ever since. She attended the Tarrytown school system, eventually married Elias Tsekerides, and has been blessed with two children and five grandchildren.
Freda was licensed as a cosmetologist by New York State in 1967, over 40 years ago. Highly talented and very artistic, she has enjoyed working locally and loves our community and its people. She has a natural ability to create outstanding hair designs. Freda likes to spend her spare time cooking, gardening, doing needlepoint and is very active in her church. She readily admits however, that her work is her passion, creating beautiful hair designs and being with people.
