The non-profit organization’s nondisclosure agreements between its members and the FBI facilitate discussions about dangers and solutions that companies and citizens may feel uncomfortable placing in the public domain and provide access to additional threat information from the FBI. March 15th’s Active Shooter Panel Discussion will feature top experts in an interactive session discussing detection, response, and coping strategies for active shooter situations. Specifically, the panel lists topics to be covered as Behavior and Signs; Incident Management and Crisis Response; Traffic and Crowd Control; Media Communications; Supports for Victims and Families; and Recovery. The event is free for the public, although since InfraGard receives no government funding, a donation fee of $25 is suggested.
*Those wishing to attend are encouraged to register as early as possible, because a background screening is required for security purposes.
