Mahopac National Bank Transfers Commercial Lender to Sleepy Hollow

Mahopac National Bank has transferred Commercial Relationship Manager Jim Casamo to its Sleepy Hollow office to assist branch managers with small business lending in Westchester County, said Gerald J. Klein Jr., bank president and chief executive officer.

A Dobbs Ferry resident, Casamo has worked in the bank’s commercial lending department since 2005.

In 2007, he was promoted to Assistant Vice President/ Commercial Relationship Manager with an office at the bank’s headquarters in Brewster.

He now is jointly responsible, along with Regional Vice Presidents Dave DeMilia and Tony Palmesi, for commercial lending throughout Mahopac National Bank’s new Sleepy Hollow Division.

"Jim has done a remarkable job as a commercial lender at several locations, and we anticipate more of the same as he brings his expertise to our Westchester offices,” Klein said.

Casamo represents the bank at numerous civic and charitable events, including the March of Dimes "March for Babies" Walkathon, the Putnam County 4-H Fair and Community Awareness Day. He served on the March of Dimes revenue committee in 2007 and 2008.

He was recognized by the bank with a community service award last year.

A Rotary Club member, he also is on the Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association fundraising committee and participated in the Elks Club community awareness event.

Casamo and his wife, Andrea, have a son, Anthony, 12, and a daughter, Ashley, 8.
