During the past April school recess, Lara Vivolo traveled down to Philadelphia. She took part in a four-day USA national training rugby camp. This was not Lara’s first USA try out, however it was one of her strongest performances to date.

Out of the 65 women who attended, 27 have been selected to compete in this summer’s Nations Cup. Lara Vivolo was one of those 27 women selected in the country to represent the USA in an International venue. Other team members include women who currently play in California, Colorado, Minnesota, and Chicago. The USA team will be meeting up for a weekend in July to bond and train as a unit. This summer, England, USA, Scotland, and Ireland will be in competition during a two week tournament that will take place in England from August 15th-31st. Go USA!!
