Gemma Maver has recently been appointed as Director of Marketing and Community Relations for Kendal on Hudson, a Continuing Care Retirement Community located in Sleepy Hollow.
"Gemma brings years of marketing experience in senior living communities in Westchester County and New York City," said Patricia Doyle, Executive Director at Kendal on Hudson. "She will be a valuable asset in representing Kendal on Hudson to people who are interested in living in our community as well as working with our residents, a network of business leaders and organizations, community groups and professionals in elder care.
Ms. Maver has held management positions in corporate sales and marketing for over 11 years and made the transition to working in senior and independent living communities based on personal experience as a caregiver. "In caring for my mother I realized I had to quickly learn about the various options in providing care and alternative living situations. I truly love and respect our elder population and feel extremely fortunate that I have found my passion in working with residents and their families."
