Tarrytown Real Estate, located at 80 South Broadway in Tarrytown, has announced the addition of real estate agent Frank Giampiccolo.
Born and raised in Tarrytown, Giampiccolo and his wife Susan, have raised three children in the Village.
He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1978 through 1982. He then went to work for the United Nations Security Police Force in New York City. He worked at the "U.N." until he was hired as a Tarrytown Police Officer in 1984. He currently holds the rank of Sergeant in the Patrol Division.
He has also been an active member of the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department over the past 30 years, working in the capacity of Captain, and Fire Warden with the Hope Hose Company #1, TFD. His volunteerism has also included recreation programs in Tarrytown, where he has served as a coach, and as Executive Director of the Tarrytowns Pop Warner Football Association. In addition, he has been a board member in the Westchester County Pop Warner Football League. Baseball is a passion of his as well and Giampiccolo became an umpire with the NYS Baseball Umpires Association, along with volunteering in the "TNT" Little League in Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow.
"I have always wanted to be a real estate agent and knew that I would in time," he said. "You can meet and help so many different people," he added.
