Bargain Hunting in Hastings-on-Hudson

Lisa Globenfelt, the owner of Chelsea’s in Hastings-on-Hudson, has opened a new venture, Chloe’s Off-Price, which features overstock women’s and children’s clothing, accessories and toys from her store and from Madison’s Avenue, a children’s boutique, in Millbrook, New York.

Well-known clothing lines like Cutloose, Flax, and Putamayo for women and Deux Par Deux, Paul Frank, Confetti, Biscotti, Cach Cach, and Charlie Rocket for kids have been reduced 50-75 percent off the retail price.

Other items, great for stocking stuffers, can be purchased for as low as $1.00. All sales are final and cash and carry only.

"In this time of economic stress, everyone is looking for a bargain and this seemed like an appropriate response from a Main Street retailer," Lisa said. The store is located at 12 Spring Street in Hastings and will be open only through December on Monday – Friday from noon to 5 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 5pm and Sunday from Noon to 5 pm. Lisa can be reached at 914-420-4552 for special shopping appointments.
