Dear Neighbors,
The Jessica N. Santos Foundation will be hosting its first Memorial Walk and Family Fun Day in memory of Jessica N. Santos, who was the innocent victim of a random drive-by shooting on August 27, 2006.
This not-for-profit organization was established in her memory for the purpose of raising money for a scholarship at the University of New Haven, where Jessica was pursuing a degree in Criminal Investigations, and for other local educational funding.
This year’s event will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2007 in celebration of what would have been Jessica’s 20th birthday and we invite you to be part of this wonderful celebration. The Memorial Walk will start at Patriot’s Park (on Broadway) in Tarrytown, and end at Pierson Park (located on the waterfront behind the Tarrytown train station) where we will have a Family Fun Day. We plan to have food, music, entertainment, carnival type activities and crafts with all proceeds going towards the scholarship.
In order to make that possible, we ask you to consider helping us with your sponsorship or donation. The suggested sponsorship levels are as follows:

We realize there are many organizations raising funds for worthy causes, but I hope you will consider becoming a sponsor for ours as well.
