A Fair Not To Be Missed

Fall in the Hudson Valley is a season of apples and pumpkins, the Headless Horseman and Harvest Fairs. A premiere Harvest Fair is the one in Pocantico Hills, sponsored by the Union Church.

It is a "must not miss" venue! This year the dates of the Fair are October 20, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and October 21, 12 noon to 4 p.m. This is the church known for its stained glass windows by Matisse and Chagall, and also for its fabulous Harvest Fair. Interested in antiques, clothing values, furniture? You will find them there. Great soups, pies and hot dogs provide an inviting lunch. There is jewelry, as well; and a boutique! The huge White Elephant tent provides bargains galore; and there are books beyond belief. Right up front you find the apples, pumpkins, flowers and plants of unrivaled quality and beauty. The Bake Table features home baked pies, cakes, cookies, breads, etc., that tempt even the most resolute dieter. Come to the Fair – the Harvest Fair at the Union Church of Pocantico Hills, 555 Bedford Road. (914) 631-1041.
