Dear Editor,
In February I attended the historic walking tour with Henry Steiner. Despite the cold, there was a great turnout much to everyone’s surprise, and I found it to be very interesting and entertaining.
I’ve lived in Sleepy Hollow my whole life and pass by Patriot’s Park all the time. It’s nice to finally know the “true” story of the monument and what it represents. Thank you to Mr. Steiner for sharing his knowledge and passion for the history that surrounds us, and for reminding those that attended of what we often take for granted. Look forward to the next tour. (Hopefully it will be warmer!).
