The donation page will remain open until May 31\, 2026. Please scan the QR code on the flyer or visit – https://fund.nnaf.org/team/821352 to donate. \nAll proceeds from Appetizers for Access will be donated directly to the New York Abortion Access Fund (NYAAF)\, New York’s only statewide abortion fund. NYAAF provides financial support for anyone living in or traveling to New York facing financial and logistical barriers to accessing abortion care. Since the fall of Roe in 2022\, NYAAF has provided $6M+ in direct funding for abortion care and supported 8\,561 callers from 40 states and 25 countries. \nRivertowns for Reproductive Rights is a grassroots community group that was formed in the Rivertowns of Westchester County following the fall of Roe v. Wade. In just four years\, we have raised more than $87K for the New York Abortion Access Fund (NYAAF) through joyful\, community-based events including dance parties\, auctions\, and a film screening. We have also engaged our community in canvassing for Prop 1 and local pro-choice candidates\, making aftercare packages for abortion patients in New York and Mississippi\, and hosting conversations with abortion providers\, scholars and activists.

SUMMARY:A Night with Author Melissa Trombetta
DESCRIPTION:Join us on May 14 at 6:30 pm at Sing Sing Kill Brewery for a night of drinks\, bites and conversation with the amazing Melissa Trombetta! She will be chatting about her NEW book The Summer Place to Be (Lainey Springs Book 1)! \nMeet Charlie Taylor—44\, freshly divorced\, slightly unraveling (in the most relatable way)\, and heading back to her hometown for what she swears will be a quiet reset. No drama. No romance. Just helping her sister\, getting her career back on track\, and absolutely not making any questionable life choices. \nEnter: Jameson Clover.\nFormer country band heartthrob turned small-town bar owner. What starts as banter (the I will be thinking about this exchange in the shower tomorrow kind) turns into something deeper… messier… and way more complicated than either of them planned. \nThis book is all about – what if it’s not too late to start over?

SUMMARY:Game of Hope - Croton Varsity Softball Charity Game
DESCRIPTION:Croton-Harmon Varsity Softball To Host “Game of Hope” to Raise Mental Health Awareness – Friday May 15th at 5:30pm \nThe Croton-Harmon Varsity Softball Team is excited to invite you to our annual charity game\, now known as The Game of Hope. Formerly the Pink and Teal Game\, this year’s event will focus on raising awareness for mental health\, in honor of May being Mental Health Awareness Month. All proceeds from the night will go back to NAMI Westchester. \n“This cause is especially important to our players\, as mental health affects not only student-athletes\, but our entire community. This is more than just a softball game for us. It’s a chance to come together\, support one another\, and show that no one has to face these challenges alone. Our team is proud to take the field with a purpose; swinging the bats to help end the stigma around mental health.” said Head Varsity Softball Coach\, Stephanie Gaudinier. \nOpening ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM at Firefighters Field. There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the night\, including food\, treats\, games\, prizes\, and a 50/50 raffle. We hope families\, friends\, and the Croton community will come out not only to support a great cause\, but also to enjoy a competitive and exciting game. \nThis event is part of a larger initiative led by our Athletic Director\, Christine Drago\, and the athletic department to raise awareness about mental health among all of our students; not just student athletes. Throughout the week\, Tigers will be participating in activities and workshops focused on education\, support\, and wellness. The Game of Hope will bring the week to a close and lead into NAMI Westchester’s Mental Health Walk on Saturday\, May 16th at Ridge Road Park. \nWe’d love to see as many people there as possible. Come out and support our players as we take on North Salem and be part of something that truly matters!
