DESCRIPTION:A beginner acrylic painting class using still-life to learn the fundamentals of painting from observation. A still life will be set up in the classroom for students to copy. Working from direct observation\, students will learn essential techniques for creating a compelling composition\, mixing a proper color palette\, and creating form from color. Participants will experiment by creating different values using more/less water\, as well as experimenting with monochromatic\, analogous\, and complementary colors to create values. \nMaterials included. \nThis class is suitable for all ages and abilities.
