Virtual: Climate Change – So What’s it All About? (For Adults & Teens)

April 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Let’s take a close look at our changing climate. Naturalist, science teacher and Certified NOAA Climate Steward Jacob Tanenbaum will offer an overview of climate science focusing on 5 basic ideas: It’s real, it’s us, it’s bad, scientists agree and there’s hope. Come join us for a conversation about one of the most important scientific questions of our time. There will be time for Q & A after the presentation.
Presenter: Jacob Tanenbaum teaches Science and Computer Technology in the South Orangetown Central Schools located in Rockland County, New York. An avid naturalist, birder and outdoor educator, Mr. Tanenbaum is a Climate Steward certified by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and holds Master Naturalist certification in New York State. His nature photographs from around the world, published writing and other materials can be found via a link on his website, jacobtanenbaum.com.
