Tours of Untermyer Gardens

World famous gardens on a Hudson River estate 100 years ago fell into ruin but are now being actively restored. Tours every Sunday through October last 90 minutes and feature the Persian Walled Garden, Vista Steps, Temple of Love with waterfalls, Rock Garden (new), Ruin Garden in the Gate House (new) as well as the fascinating history of Samuel Untermyer . Reservations are not needed. Sturdy closed toe shoes and water are recommended. This week’s toru is history focused. Details on the website.
