The Pound Ridge Massacre

Jon Scott Bennett, a recent graduate of Manhattanville College with a major in History and a talented filmmaker, will present his extraordinary documentary of the Pound Ridge Massacre (March 1644) between the Dutch colony of New Netherland (New York) and the Indigenous “River Tribes” of the Hudson River Valley.  A question-and-answer period will follow.  Registration begins May 20 via the library’s Web site.
