Still Life Sketching

A free program presented by Support Connection, Inc. Open to people nationwide who have or have had breast, ovarian or gynecological cancer. Relax, unwind and enjoy yourself in this free virtual drawing program where you’ll learn how to create still life sketches. You will receive a step-by-step tutorial and learn to use basic shapes to draw everyday items. From there, instruction will move onto adding textures and shadows. Participants will create their own visual tableaux of household items to create and sketch their very own still life works of art.

This class is appropriate for all skill levels from beginners to more advanced. Participants are asked to provide pencil, paper, and between 1 and 3 household objects for assembling their still life tableaux. Additional materials such as colored pencils, markers, pastels etc. can be utilized as well. Space is limited to 15 participants.
