Somers Library Book Group meets in person and virtually to discuss Maggie O’Farrell’s “The Marriage Portrait”

This brings Renaissance Italy to life in this unforgettable story of the young duchess, Lucrezia de’ Medici, as she makes her way in the troubled Florence court of the 1550s. It is a portrait of a resilient young woman’s battle for survival.

This Library-sponsored book group is led by Diana Cunningham, Librarian, who selects the books to be discussed, chosen in consultation with Tara Ferretti, Head of Public Services, with feedback and suggestions from the group. New members are always welcome. Join us!
