Learn how to make museum-quality preserved plant specimens suitable for research, education, and the arts under the guidance of botanist, Daniel Atha. Gain the knowledge and skill to develop your own herbarium and finish the course having prepared a variety of dried, mounted and labeled specimens. You’ll learn how to select the best material for preservation; how to press, dry, and arrange them; how to format a good specimen label; and how to mount plants using archival materials. All materials will be provided. Cost: $50 for the whole series. Max: 11 people.
