Northern Westchester Hospital to hold panel discussion on the teen vaping crisis

In response to the teen vaping crisis in which one in four teens are addicted, 2,500 have suffered lung related illnesses, and over 50 have died, Northern Westchester Hospital (NWH) will hold a community talk, panel discussion and Q&A for parents and teachers on the latest trends and best practices in treatment, Thursday, January 30th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Chappaqua Crossing (the lower level conference center), 480 Bedford Road in Chappaqua (snow date February 6th). Panelists include Richard Stumacher, MD, FCCP, chief of pulmonary and critical care medicine; Maryann Buetti-Sgouros, MD, FAAP, chair, department of pediatrics; and Jennifer Lucas RRT-NPS, coordinator for the NWH smoking cessation program.
