Monique Brideau presents a selection of her artwork created over the past 20 years. Primarily an abstract oil painter, her work also includes collage, drawing and printmaking. She is largely inspired by nature, landscape and movement.
Monique Brideau is a member of the Peekskill Artist Certification Committee. She is also the Artist Representative on the Peekskill Business Improvement District Board of Directors. Monique received a Post Baccalaureate in Art at Brandeis University (‘07) and an MFA in Painting at Boston University (‘09). Monique is a Yorktown native and graduate of Lakeland HS (‘93).
Monique Brideau: ‘Abstract Collage’ is an exhibition of twenty collages currently showing at Warner Library in Tarrytown through September. She recently had solo shows at The Field Gallery, The Peekskill Coffee House and The Hendrick Hudson Free Library.
