Manhattan Chamber Players
September 23 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$35
Friends of Music Concerts presents Manhattan Chamber Players as we begin our 70th season. Great music plus a delicious cookie favor for all who attend.
This dynamic group is a collective of New York City-based musicians, all long-time friends and colleagues. They have been featured frequently on NPR’s “Performance Today” and been singled out for their “fascinating program concept.”
We will welcome Adam Golka, piano; Elizabeth Fayette, Siwoo Kim and Grace Park, violins; Luke Fleming, viola (also the group’s Artistic Director) and Michael Katz, cello.
The program will include: String Quartet No. 2 by Philip Glass, Piano Quintet in Eb Major, Op. 44 by Robert Schumann and Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet in D Major, Op. 21, by Ernest Chausson.
For tickets (adults $35, under 18 free), click here:https://friendsofmusicconcerts.org/manhattan-chamber-players/
After the concert, if you wish to credit the $35 price toward a full season subscription, you’ll pay just $105 for the remaining six concerts.
