How The Mind Can Heal The Heart
October 26 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm$125
With Tara Bennett-Goleman And Daniel Goleman
We can expand our emotional bandwidth by changing limiting patterns of thought and emotion, and how we behave and relate.
In this special day-long retreat, acclaimed authors and psychologists, Tara Bennett-Goleman and Daniel Goleman, draw from their work on social and emotional intelligence, and emotional alchemy.
We will explore:
@ Transforming emotional patterns that separate into ones that connect.
@ Developing an empathic attunement and mindful discernment
@ Expanding the gap between impulse and action
@ Finding a resonant basis for connection
In this combination of lecture and experiential exercises, we will integrate Eastern and Western practices and perspectives, including mindfulness and compassion, to repattern habits of the heart.
This session is part of The Aligned Center/SUNY Purchase Series.
