Fall After-School: Storytelling with Words + Pictures

Young artists and writers embrace the comics and zines format all while sharpening expository writing, creative fiction, and illustration skills.
Through a collaborative partnership with the Rivertowns Dispatch, the local, independent newspaper of the Rivertowns, selected work from the class will be published in a special, bi-annual kids’ section of the print newspaper.
This class meets on Tuesdays at 4:30 PM for for 55 minutes in the Atrium at HudCo (145 Palisade St. Suite 200, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522) from September to January:

January 7 & 14
Open to children entering Grades 1-6 in the fall of 2024.
