Fall After-School: Newspaper Club

Young reporters and editors engage in all aspects of newspaper production, from pitching ideas to interviewing, reporting, editing and planning for publication.
Through a collaborative partnership with the Rivertowns Dispatch, the local, independent newspaper of the Rivertowns, selected work from the Fall Newspaper Club will be published in a special, bi-annual kids’ section of the print newspaper.
This class meets on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM for for 55 minutes in the Atrium at HudCo (145 Palisade St. Suite 200, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522) from September to January:
September 10, 17 & 24
October 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29
November 12, 19 & 26
December 3, 10 & 17
January 7 & 14
Open to children entering Grades 1-6 in the fall of 2024.
