The L.A. Brennan Lower Hudson Chapter, New York State Archaeological Association presents a program by Jenna Anderson about stone tool production methods 770 thousand to 130 thousand years ago at four Middle Pleistocene sites near Lake Turkana in Kenya, Africa.
Fossil evidence indicates that hominin brains underwent significant size increases and structural changes in the Pleistocene and study of hominin cognition and behavior may be informed by analysis of stone tool production methods throughout this era.
Following the program please join the NYSAA Lower Hudson Chapter for a seasonal holiday celebration
