Bountiful Westchester: The Ecological Value and Sustainability of Yards and Canopy Cover

In celebration of Earth Day, PLAN it WILD will host a free online expert panel discussing rewilding, sustainable yards, and the latest research on Westchester’s canopy cover. Set for Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 6 pm and entitled Bountiful Westchester: The Ecological Value and Sustainability of Yards and Canopy Cover, regional experts will join this hour-long, free Zoom event hosted by PLAN it WILD CEO Amanda Bayley and moderated by VP of Strategy and Development Bram Gunther. Panelists scheduled to participate are:

Peter Groffman Ph.D., Professor, CUNY Advanced Science Research Center, Environmental Science Initiative.

Midge Iorio, Executive Director, Bedford 2030.

Peter McCartt, Director of Energy Conservation and Sustainability, Westchester County.
