Bats: NY’s Caped Crusaders! ♿

June 12 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

$4

Do you hate mosquitos? If so, then you should love bats! Bats help keep insect populations under control and are an integral component of a healthy ecosystem. They are also important pollinators and support biodiversity. Join naturalist, Josh DiPaola, for a family-friendly 1-mile twilight walk around Swan Lake in search of these elusive and misunderstood creatures. Learn how they contribute to the environment, threats compromising their populations, and how to safely facilitate their habitat. Max: 20 people. Suggested for ages 8+. Cost: $4. Photo courtesy of D.
