Barbara Dullaghan’s novel, entitled Secrets in the Hollow: A Sleepy Hollow Novel, follows the turbulent story of Carrie Peters, a 40-year-old woman who returns to her hometown of Sleep Hollow after her parents die. Through Carrie’s struggles, readers see the lasting impact of keeping secrets and are drawn into the historic setting of Sleepy Hollow, New York. From the legend of The Bronze Lady to intimate details about this small town on the Hudson River, the location plays a major role in the events of the novel. As the author’s actual hometown, every small detail is believable and rooted in her own lived experiences. Come meet the author, and listen to an excerpt of her novel.
