Calling All Young Naturalists

The Rockefeller State Park Preserve wants you to meet some of the amphibians up close and learn what makes these animals so special. The program called, “Frogs, Toads and Salamanders,” will take place on Sunday, April 23 at 1:30 pm.

Visitors will meet at the Preserve’s Visitor Center, located on Route 117, approximately one mile east of Route 9. Everyone should come dressed for the weather, for the outdoor adventure will be about two hours. Following the walk, participants will make their own origami jumping frog. The Preserve has come alive with the sounds, peeps, quacks, snores and trills of nature and you and your family are invited. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
