Momentum is visible within the Village of Sleepy Hollow. A number of grant awards have infused many ongoing projects that perpetuate the Village’s history.

The 1883 Lighthouse has received approximately $500,000 from the offices of Nita Lowey, Nick Spano and Westchester County. Historic Hudson Valley’s Dam and Wharf has been awarded $2,570,000. Route 9 Beautification has been given $916,000 while the Kingsland/DeVries Overpass has received $598,000. The Bathhouse restoration project at Kingsland has also received a $78,750 grant for a feasibility study.
