Stacy Higgins, owner of the stylish and popular "SOHO east" home design store in Dobbs Ferry, announced that she is opening a second boutique in another picturesque river village, Irvington-on-Hudson — in time for holiday shopping.
The store is a new branch that will be open through the end of 2006.
"SOHO east 2" will feature items different from the Dobbs Ferry store. The emphasis will be on table linens for entertaining, such as tablecloths, hand towels, runners, placemats, napkins and napkin rings. A selection of chenille throws and pillows will also be on hand, along with gift items like unusual chocolates, luxury bath products and naturally infused scented candles.
"SOHO east 2" is located at 39 Main Street in Irvington, a lively new arts-oriented space between Dutcher and Cottenet Streets. There will be an art gallery in the room directly behind the store.
