Renato’s, Irvington, NY

In July of 2005, Renato Nikprelevic came back to his Irvington restaurant roots by opening his own restaurant called “Renato’s on the Hudson” at 12 N. Astor St., Irvington.

Renato, a native of Montenegro, and now an Irvington resident, was originally involved in the same location when the restaurant was known as “Fuffi Grill.” In 2000, Renato became the manager of “La Fontana,” a well-known Nyack restaurant.

In addition to an increasing dinner and luncheon clientele, Renato has been catering parties for local companies such as the Maxon Corporation, EMT Chemicals and Eileen Fisher. He is located across from the Irvington train station and has easy parking access. Renato features a menu that is strongly influenced by a Continental and Italian style. He comments that he is now getting a strong customer representation from both his “old Irvington customers as well as many of his recent customers from Nyack.” For further information, call 591-0099.
